Our experienced staff, from turf managers to sales representatives, are always available to assist you in any way. We grow only the highest quality blends of bluegrass and fine fescue mixtures from Gold Tag Certified seed. Our turf is grown on the finest mineral & organic soils in Western New York.

Bluegrass Blends

Batavia Turf uses only Gold Tag Certified Seed. Three to five of the following cultivars are in any given sod blend: Award, Be Dazzled, Blacksburg, Blackstone, Blue-Tastic, Brilliant, Deep Blue, Jefferson, Merit, Midnight II, Nu Destiny, P105, Serene, Washington, Nu Destiny and Bedazzled.

We have seeded 100s of acres of highly rated low growing varieties that will withstand mowing to less than 3/4 inch.

ABOUT OUR TURF!
Batavia Turf is grown on both mineral and organic soils for 18-24 months. This ensures that the turf is mature, strong and durable when harvested and transplanted to its new home.

Our turf is a specially formulated blend designed for the intense traffic and abuse experienced on athletic fields. It offers an even texture and easy maintenance most desired by the pros, groundskeepers and homeowners.

We offer a Kentucky bluegrass/Fescue blend of turf that is shade tolerant. However, this turf still needs at least 2 hours of direct sunlight per day to maintian its health and color..
